Carvalho Believes Calcao Should Sign For Real Madrid

Ricardo Carvalho reckons that if his teammate Radamel Falcao signs for Real Madrid, he would form an unstoppable offensive combination there along with Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Falcao was speculated to be close to making a move to Real Madrid last year as well, but, that hadn’t happened eventually and the Colombian forward had joined Monaco.
But, this summer, he might be on his way to Bernabeu.
Falcao is on the radar of a couple of Premier League clubs too, but, there is not much possibility of him going to England.

Falcao had signed for Monaco in May 2013 and he stood out in his very first season there striking 9 times in the top tier in 16 matches that he got to play.

When Carvalho was asked about Falcao being linked with Real Madrid, he said, “If he (Falcao) goes there, it would make Madrid’s attack extremely fearsome. All of us know about Ronaldo and Bale is fantastic too. Now, if you add Falcao there, it becomes a lethal combination which would give headache to the defenders all over the world. As a defender, I can assure you that.”

As far as Carvalho himself is concerned, he has recently agreed on a new deal with Monaco which would keep him at the club for another season. He was also being reported to be willing to move away, but, at the end, he didn’t reject the extension offer made by the Red and Whites.

This is going to be Carvalho’s second season at Stade Louis II. He had made his way there last summer after leaving Real Madrid.

The 36-year old centre back made 27 league appearances for Monaco in the previous season and did well enough to earn an extension.
